Symbol Promenade Park
Symbol Promenade Park is a waterfront park that opened in 1996. It consists of three blocks stretching approximately 4 kilometers from east to west, connecting Aomi, Odaiba, and Ariake.
The word “promenade” comes from French and means “walkway.” Within the park, beautiful seasonal flowers—including tulips in spring, hydrangeas, and pansies—adorn the flower beds, and the spacious walkways are perfect for dates and strolls. On clear days, you can even see Mount Fuji from Deai Bridge and Yume no Ohashi Bridge. In addition, the park’s open spaces frequently host events such as marathons, craft fairs, and food festivals, attracting large crowds.
The park is also well known for its beautiful night views. West Park Bridge is a classic photo spot where Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower can be seen perfectly aligned. On Yume no Ohashi Bridge, unique streetlights inspired by the matoi, the standards used by firefighters during the Edo period, are illuminated. The surrounding facilities also gradually light up from dusk, creating a calm atmosphere quite different from that of the daytime.
