HIROSHIMA ORIZURU TOWER
After enjoying Peace Memorial Park and Peace Boulevard, head back toward Atomic Bomb Dome-mae Station. Your next stop is HIROSHIMA ORIZURU TOWER.
Located just a short walk from Atomic Bomb Dome-mae Station, immediately to the east of the Atomic Bomb Dome, this facility opened in 2016 and has since become a beloved attraction for both visitors and local residents.
The rooftop level features an open-air observation deck called "HIROSHIMA HILLS," where you can relax while enjoying the natural beauty of Hiroshima. From here, you can look out over the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park, and on a clear day, you can even see Mount Misen on Miyajima.
On the 12th floor, at "ORIZURU SQUARE," you can fold a paper crane using specially provided origami paper and drop it into the adjacent "Orizuru Wall." The Orizuru Wall is formed by the many paper cranes placed inside by visitors, each carrying their thoughts and wishes. The sight of the colorful cranes gently fluttering down is truly not to be missed.
