A kandekko is a small hoe made of magnolia wood. The Nakazato Kandekko-Age is a traditional event in which a male phallus made from a walnut tree and a kandekko are tied together and thrown onto a sacred katsura tree. It is said that if it hangs on the place you were aiming for, your wish will come true.
