Casually Observe Underwater Life Without Changing Clothes
Peek into the crystal-clear sea where tropical fish swim by
Located on Cape Busena, a small peninsula jutting out into the East China Sea, Busena Marine Park is a historic tourist attraction that opened in 1970.
One of its main attractions is the whale-shaped glass boat. The boat's glass bottom lets you look down into the astonishingly clear sea as you enjoy a cruise of about 20 minutes.
If you're concerned about seasickness, the Underwater Observation Tower is another excellent option. At the bottom of the stairs, you'll find yourself 5 meters below the surface of the sea.
Beyond the 24 small windows set into the walls, colorful tropical fish, including clownfish and yellowfin goatfish, swim back and forth, creating the sensation of being underwater yourself.
Even in bad weather, the underwater conditions are not greatly affected, making it an ideal place to visit on rainy days as well.
A free shuttle bus also operates to the Underwater Observation Tower.
There is also a beach on the west side, so we recommend taking a stroll along the promenade while enjoying the coastal scenery.
